There Are Five Kinds Of People Who Do Not Belong In Your Life

There Are Five Kinds Of People Who Do Not Belong In Your Life

1. People Who Hinder Your Pursuit Of Jesus.
Any person in your life who hinders or discourages your pursuit of knowing God has disqualified himself from a relationship with you. I am speaking here of an “inner-circle” relationship – those we admire and reach out to for counsel.

2. People Who Feed Your Doubts, Not Your Faith.
Doubt is contagious. It is like a spiritual cancer that starts small until it consumes every area of your life and thinking. It aborts any miracle of God’s intervention in your life. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…”
We need to surround ourselves with people who encourage our faith. We do not need people in our lives who feed our doubts and hinder us from standing on God’s promises.

3. People Who Are Always Negative.
Dale Galloway said, “If we put negative thoughts in our minds, we will become victimized by our own negative thinking. A positive person does not refuse to ignore the negative, but he refuses to dwell on it.”
Thoughts and words create an atmosphere. Negative words are like arrows shot into the heart. According to Scripture, “life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).

4. People Who Belittle The Holy Spirit’s Assignment For Your Life.
You were born with talents and potential given to you by the Holy Spirit. Anyone who belittles your calling or makes fun of what God is doing through you do not belong in your “inner-circle”. Every relationship and conversation is either moving you closer to Jesus or pulling you away.

5. People Whose Only Goal In Life Is Survival.
In the Garden of Eden, before Adam and Eve sinned, God commanded and expected increase to follow His blessing. “God blessed them and said unto them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it’” (Genesis 1:28a NIV). Notice that the command to increase became man’s responsibility once he was blessed by God. It is easy to become focused on our own needs and pretend the rest of the world does not exist.

God is a God of increase. He expects increase from our lives. We need to surround ourselves with those people who have fruitful lives! Don’t settle for average.

If you want to have a saved soul, but a wasted life then associate with the wrong people and you will share their wasted future!

However, if you are ready to make a difference on the earth, then live and model the Christianity Jesus commanded and taught. . . and the rewards of a productive life will be yours and those you love will reap the blessing!

What have you done?

The weekend is here and tomorrow a new week will arrive. Ask your self "Have I done my best to please God?" "Have I did anything to improve my life this week?" Have I taken the time to bless someone other than myself and my family this week?" If you have answered no to any of these questions you have less than 24 hrs to do so. Don't do it because I said so, do it because your heart tells you so. I know times are tough but when you sacrifice to sow a seed to someone else it always comes back 10x's fold. Step up and make a difference, do something positive!

People will not remember you by what you didn't do, however, they will always remember you by what you did do no matter if its good or bad!
Everyone is waiting for Change! Why wait to follow when you have the ability to lead? I love you all! Take care. God Bless!

So you call yourself a Christian... Then where is your Faith?

So you call yourself a Christian... Then where is your Faith?

I'm just curious why do so many Christians say they believe in the Lord, but just as soon as a storm arrive they begin to worry, have doubt, and stress over things that are out of our control. I just want to know do you think for one moment that God doesn't provide? Where does your Faith go?

Mark 4:37-40 (New International Version)

37A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?"

39He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

40He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

I don't know about you all but if I have God on my boat and the storm is on the rise I will take my place right beside him and we would ride this storm together!

Are you in the right business for the right reasons?

Are you in the right business for the right reasons?

Many of us choose jobs because of money, how easy the job is with more pay, or because it sounds good and the say its a quick profit. Yet we start these jobs and struggle or we are unhappy. Why? Maybe that's not your purpose. Did you pray about that job before you decided to take it or sign up for it online? God has given us all talent, a vision, a purpose, a mission, or task. The question is "What are you doing with it?" Stop being concerned what people are going to think of you and just do whatever God has planned for you. Allow God to use you just as he did Moses in Exodus 3:1-14. No matter what your past looks like or your present God will still use you, but are you willing to accept the challenge. Choose your job wisely, don't allow yourself to get caught up in the hype of quick profits. Just stop and ask yourself is this my purpose , is this what God have planned for me? Many of you will ask, "How will I know what is plan his
for me?" Simple, thing will come to you in the wee hours of the night, it will be so heavy on you that thing will come to you at any given moment, you will grow an interest so deep in it that you can't back out of it, and once you humble yourself, pray, and summit to God, his plan will unfold right before your eyes quicker than you have ever imagined. We have allowed others to use us in so many ways that its ridiculous! Now its time for you to allow God to use you. i love you all and take care.

A Table in the Presence of Enemies!

I sit here as I look over the all the food I have prepared for my family today and I thank God! It was only Sunday I was thinking I only have $65 dollars to my name, its my daughter's birthday, Thanksgiving, and we have to make it until the 1st (husband in the Military so you know how that goes). I said don't trip girl God got you and he did! Then I remembered what he said in

Psalms 23:5
A Table in the Presence of Enemies!

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

I thought about it no matter how broke we maybe but God makes sure that he doesn't allow our enemies to see it. He make sure we look fabulous before the ones who tried or tries to bring us down. Remember he has already anointed your head with oil and you cup begins to overflow when you need it the most! God is an on time God! So be thankful, be satisfied. Back in the day God turned water into wine. Today he turned my meal, flour, and eggs into some cornbread stuffing LOL God is Good! Be Bless Be Thankful and Be Generous with what the Lord has bless you with on this day!

Good Morning Divas Nov 26, 2008

I was just thinking how much effort we put into our jobs and business. In some ways we become leaders, supervisors, or commander over someone who has been placed under your authority. We teach them and train them as we want them to do the work in perfect form. We ourselves practice perfection when it comes to our job and training other, however, what about home? We are the commanders over our kids or our household, we teach them the 10 commandments and expect them to live by them, when we fall short of them ourselves. We give them them House rules, but we intend to let them slide on a few from time to time. We let them slide by say rude things to a sibling , friends, or family member and laugh about it until that one day they try it with us. The point I'm getting at is why should our household be ran any less than our jobs? How can you have such leadership skills on the job when you are a slacker at being a commander in your own house. If you don't have your children to follower the
rules early every single time, and make them pay for it when they don't,There will always become a time when they might come to a situation and say I can get away with it this one time... and that one time can cause someone a lifetime. As you read the Inspiration of the day think of your children, think of how you are training them to become the commander of their household one day, teach them how to run the "Family Business". Some times we as a parent makes mistakes with raising our kids, but lets not blame it on them being hard headed, look back at the small things you allowed to go on. Look back at the times when you told them not to do something and they ask why and you said because I said so. Take the time to explain the pros and cons. Allow your child to see you as human by sharing some of your experiences with them. We are raising the future people so lets step up our game!

We have so many reasons to be thankful. So why do we complain so much? Look back 60 years ago when life was lived so simple but mankind had to go through so much just to make sure we were treated equally. However today we get upset over our cell phones and our computers acting up at times. People were murdered just for our kid of every race to attend the same schools. Many parents meals were made from just flour, meal, water, and fresh vegetables. Now we sit in long line to by fast food, call out for delivery, or throw something in the microwave. Back then many wore hand made clothes and hand me downs. However, we get so upset when our designer suites get a small stain in them.
I hear so many of us complain about finances. How can we fix our mouth to complain about finances when we are still able to sit in front of the computer and log on to True Divas, when we have a roof over our head, food to eat, lights, phone and cable is still working. How can we complain about anything when we have homeless families sleeping on the streets, kids dying of drug overdose, you have infant being born with AIDS but yet we complain. Our issues are small compared to so many other peoples issues. Be thankful if you are just late on a light bill, at least you have a house to sit in the dark. Be thankful people please life is too short to be ungrateful. Just please think before you complain about anything. Just know God knows your every need and he will provide. I love you all.

I just want to take the time to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I know many of you may be going out of town or staying at home to prepare a meal for your family. Whatever you decide to do please bee safe. The Winter Holidays are the most top rated for house fires so please double check everything before you leave the house and unplug all your Holiday decorations. Make sure all heaters are working properly and all cords are properly intact. I love you all and I think of each one of you as a family member. I want to see each of you succeed and be confident within yourself. As I've said before I'm always here when you need me and I'm sure quite a few women can vouch for that. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving. When you get the time read the real story of Thanksgiving in the Brutally Honest group, I guarantee you will have more to be thankful for.

I hope you all have a great Saturday! I found this poem and wanted to share it. SO Make room for your blessings!

CLEANING HOUSE FOR 2009

Last Week I threw out Worrying, it was getting old and in the way.
It kept me from being me; I couldn't do things God's way.
I threw out a book on MY PAST
(Didn't have time to read it anyway).
Replaced it with NEW GOALS, started reading it today.
I threw out hate and bad memories,
(Remember how I treasured them so)?
Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too, threw out the one from long ago.
Brought in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, AND I MUST.
Threw out I might, I think and I ought.
WOW, you should've seen the dust.
I ran across an OLD FRIEND, I hadn't talked to in a while.
His name is GOD the Father, and I really like His style.
He helped me to do some cleaning and added some things Himself.
Like PRAYER, HOPE, FAITH and LOVE,
Yes I placed them right on the shelf.
I picked up this special thing and placed it at the front door.
I FOUND IT- its called PEACE. Nothing gets me down anymore.
Yes, I've got my house looking nice.
Looks good around the place.
For things like Worry and Trouble there just isn't any space.
It's good to do a little house cleaning,
Get rid of the things on the shelf.
It sure makes things brighter; maybe you should TRY IT YOURSELF.
BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

Good Morning Divas Nov 21, 2008

Happy Friday Divas!!! We have made it to the end of the week and what a wonderful week we've had.
I just want to ask one question... What have you done this week to improve yourself from last week? Every week you should do something to improve yourself as a person.,Build your character, and strengthen your personal development. We all see fault in other people that irritates us but we fail to realize that's something within ourselves that we need to alter. Self improvement is something we should take pride in doing and feel confident in doing so. Many of us fail to see that we have faults, or where we need improvement in ourselves. Ask your spouse, child, a close friend, parent, or sibling (someone who's going to be brutally honest with you) to Name one thing about you, as a person, that they feel you need to change. Collect their answers (don't get mad, don't ask them why, and don't jump into defense mode) and sit down and re-evaluate yourself and see how you could change those things. Its always better to get an outside opinion when it comes to yourself... just face it, you
wouldn't know if your breath stinks unless someone told you! LOL I love you all and have a great day!

Good Morning Divas Nov 20, 2008

"What do you want from God?" This morning I was asked the question this question...and I thought WOW that's deep lol. I sat back and look a back at all the things I've prayed for, asked for help in, and sometimes I even got bold to demand things. I then thought about my daughter, how she ask for things All the time, how she acts so needy( when she could do things herself only if she tried), and how she gets stubborn at times and want to do as she please! Again I was like WoW!!! I only have one child and God has Billions of little knuckle heads just like my daughter to deal with all day every day...That man has to have some patience!

Ask yourself what have you done for God lately? Stop being that spoiled brat and do something for your Father in Heaven! He don't ask for much...he also so said "What you have done for others, you have done for me." So get to work and stop waiting on God to please you all the time and begin to put forth the effort to pleasing him! I love you all.

I don't know who this is for this morning but, God told me to ask you..." Where is your Faith?" (I'm about to get brutally honest here so don't get mad with me, I'm just doing my assignment!) Why do we even pray when we don't have Faith? Many of us kneel down and pray about situations and get back up and worry about them all over again... Why? Do you not have faith is our God? That's like telling God, " God I want to tell you about my problems, however, I don't believe you can't fix them." Wake up! Have you forgotten ALL he has brought you through? Have you forgotten how he pulled you through situations that you couldn't see your way out of? Have you forgotten about the times the devil had you so wrapped up and bind down in sin and God said I forgive you anyway? How much proof does it takes for you to notice how Powerful Our God is? You need to sit down and re-evaluate yourself, your thought, and your relationship with God! Stop thinking how bad the issue is, and how long the trial
may last and start thinking about ways to improve yourself and your relationship with God!

Do you want to be successful? I'm sure you all have answered yes... who wouldn't want to be successful right. I have to be honest its three thing that will take you to success, your relationship with God, Faith, and Values! Those are the 3 keys to success. If you have those three things, you have nothing to loose! Stop focusing on money, cars, and clothes! Focus on your personal development. Make people see who you are, but not by what you have, what you have been through or where you come from. Introduce people to the real you, never alter yourself to fit in, stand strong for what you believe in and never fold out of fear of what people may think. People respect you more when they see and know who you are! When people see that success is soon to follow. It may not be given to you but you would have earned it! Keep faith and stay strong. I will post a blog this morning called Carrot, Egg, and Coffee... please check it out and tell me which one are you! I love you all!

Today is a day filled with opportunities! The question is what will you do when that opportunity knocks? Will you open the door to embrace it? Or will you back down in fear of not being able to handle it? What if the opportunity never knocks? Will you sit and continue to wait or will you build your own door? Decisions, decisions, decisions, be careful how you make them because all opportunities aren't good ones. Be wise and make clear decisions. When you kneel down to pray; pray for the right and perfect opportunity for you, and when the Lord sends it don't be afraid of the challenge for it may be bigger than what you asked for! I love you all and Enjoy your weekend.
