Good Morning Divas Nov 26, 2008

I was just thinking how much effort we put into our jobs and business. In some ways we become leaders, supervisors, or commander over someone who has been placed under your authority. We teach them and train them as we want them to do the work in perfect form. We ourselves practice perfection when it comes to our job and training other, however, what about home? We are the commanders over our kids or our household, we teach them the 10 commandments and expect them to live by them, when we fall short of them ourselves. We give them them House rules, but we intend to let them slide on a few from time to time. We let them slide by say rude things to a sibling , friends, or family member and laugh about it until that one day they try it with us. The point I'm getting at is why should our household be ran any less than our jobs? How can you have such leadership skills on the job when you are a slacker at being a commander in your own house. If you don't have your children to follower the
rules early every single time, and make them pay for it when they don't,There will always become a time when they might come to a situation and say I can get away with it this one time... and that one time can cause someone a lifetime. As you read the Inspiration of the day think of your children, think of how you are training them to become the commander of their household one day, teach them how to run the "Family Business". Some times we as a parent makes mistakes with raising our kids, but lets not blame it on them being hard headed, look back at the small things you allowed to go on. Look back at the times when you told them not to do something and they ask why and you said because I said so. Take the time to explain the pros and cons. Allow your child to see you as human by sharing some of your experiences with them. We are raising the future people so lets step up our game!
