Healthy Living


1. Get up & Get Moving
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators. Hit the basketball court; have a water fight your kids; get out and dance, have a Taebo party. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress reliever. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it. Meanwhile, move more. Thought for the day: In the words of Laura A. Gibson... "Boom Kat Boom"...Then do it!

2.No Pigs Allowed
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise. Thought for the day: Lean, mean, fat-burning machine…. Then be one!

3. Dropping the Butt
The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General announced that smoking was harmful to your health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products that kill. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. Could it be the Hollywood influence? It seems the stars in every movie of late smoke cigarettes. Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of Hollywood smokers. Thought for the day: Give up just one cigarette…. the next one.

4. Ditching Stress
Easier said than done, stress relievers come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial, or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible. Thought for the day: When seeing red, think pink clouds….then float on them.

Well prepared

When you're well prepared for the challenges, you can actually enjoy working through them. When you enjoy the challenges, you'll be able to create great value.

What can you do today that will make your work tomorrow go more smoothly? Though you may not know exactly what the challenges will be, there is still much you can do to prepare.

Preparation boosts your confidence. Good, solid, thoughtful preparation makes your efforts more effective.

Be well prepared, and your time will be spent moving forward instead of struggling to catch up. Be prepared, and you can effectively deal with small issues before they become big obstacles.

Imagine the possibilities and then prepare yourself for them. That puts you in position to make the best of whatever may happen.

Good preparation magnifies the positive influence of your efforts. Be prepared and everything becomes an opportunity.

Find a way
Don't believe those who tell you that it can't be done. Refuse to be stopped by those who say it's too late, or not practical, or too early, or not workable.

Listen carefully and thoughtfully to their advice, and then find a way. Look realistically at the challenges, and then begin working through them.

What may appear to be an unyielding obstacle when you're standing still, will begin to give way when you start moving forward. Focus not on what is pushing against you, but focus instead on the purpose that is pushing you to get it done.

Remind yourself again and again of why you must. Hold your head high and keep your eyes on the goal.

Conditions will change, and so can you. Some routes will be blocked, and you have the flexibility to discover alternate ways to get it done.

Decide that you will accomplish what you have chosen to accomplish. Know that there is a way, and step by step, you will find it.

The Prayer of Faith

Today we will cover patience. And if ANY of you are like me, that is very hard to do. ESPECIALLY during suffering. We want so bad for the storm to be over that we don't pay attention to the lesson and the reason of the storm. Well the storm is going to pass. But it doesn't feel like it at the time. That storm looks like Katrina at the moment. But guess what? Even Katrina passed. So will your storm, OUR storm. Say the prayer of faith. He is planting that seed in us. Let us allow it to flourish and be fruitful. But first, we MUST endure. It is hard, trust me I know. But let us pray and be mindful of the outcome. NOTHING here on Earth last forever. Remember this too shall pass.

13Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14Is any one of you sick? James 2

Greetings Divas & Gents!

Today is another beautiful day that the Lord has blessed us to see. We had an awesome time on the call last night and we shared some amazing updates in all of our lives. We have some people here on the True Diva Network that are really beginning to birth and work in their purpose! We are Super Excited to hear all of the wonderful things that God is doing in each of your lives. Keep the Faith and Stay focused!

I hope that this comes to you in good spirits. Today the message is from James 2 because it covers how we should treat one another, but it also covers what we should do in our faith. We tend to have faith and believe that just asking and believing is enough. Well it isn't. It is great to ask and to believe, but we have to do our part. See just believing it is going to happen won't do. We have to move into action. We have to step forward with that faith and go ahead and let Him lead us. Never fear that you are going to fail or let Him down. He wants us to do these things in our lives. He is telling us and we just have to listen. We have to do our part. So today not only know that it is going to happen. Do something to assist in making it happen. I tell people all the time, I can only do what I can do and give the rest to Him. Do what you can do! Be blessed and I love you all!

Taming that tongue.

Good morning all! Hope that you sleep was peaceful and full of rest. Today is James 3. Taming that tongue. I think we all have struggled with this at one point in time. Our tongues are a small part of our make up, but they do some of the most damage. We must be mindful of what we say to one another. We cannot take it back. As in Proverbs, we must be slow to anger. Being angry is going to happen. Well take a step back, and pray and meditate on it. Understand anger is a secondary emotion, so know that wasn't your first reaction in the first place. As in the second half of James which covers wisdom, that will help with your anger and taming your tongue. When we believe that our wisdom comes from the world,, we are already foolish. Be of a higher degree and stand for much more than worldly things. Today I ask that you pray for someone you didn't pray for yesterday. Do it everyday. Will find that even in a week you have prayed for 7 more people. If everyone does that do you know the power that is occurring? He is wonderful! Let's use ourselves for Him and for one another. Be blessed, love and live!

Satan was just a Setup for your blessings.

Today is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it! Today is Sunday another day to be thankful for. Last week I'm sure I'm not the only one, however, I was attacked by satan on several occasions, people have tried to slander my name, accuse me of things that I have not done, gotten upset with me because I don't do what they think I should do and even tried to infest attitude in my daughter. When satan saw that I was not going to bow down to his level he begin to attack my house, and the people I am closest to...but guess what even God put a spin on that. Everything the enemy plotted against me God made it for me! I am blessed and I know I serve a Mighty God. From on attack came a flood of love and compassion from so many people that I ever expected. I thank you all for the prayers, the love, the emails, phone calls, text messages, and the support. Even though you all have busy lives, you took out the time to share a moment with me and I truly appreciate it.
When things look bad from one angel try repositioning yourself to look at it from another angel. Food for thought... Every problem have a solution and most of them have multiple solutions so ask yourself which solution is best for you? I love you all and have a blessed day.

Yes its Saturday and I am Super Excited about my day today. I have had a rough week fighting off Satan but thank God I made it to Saturday, no matter how things went this week I was still about my Father's Business. No devil in hell will stop me from completing the task that I was put on this earth to do. That is how you should feel right now. Don't get depressed, worry, or sad. Stand up and fight back. God came up with all power and he have the power to heal any situation that you ask of him! Fall on your knees and ask for the power of the Almighty to fall upon your situation! Speak, Believe it, and watch it manifest! I love you all and I am here for each of you. Just because I don't send a message to let you know I am praying for you or thinking of you, doesn't mean that you are not in my prayers. So just know that when you are feel like your load is unbearable, you are not the only one praying for you! Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Joshua 1:3-10 (NIV)

This morning I woke up giving God the highest praise and thanking him before I hit the floor good. I remember waking up in my sleep thanking God but wasn't sure why. So as I sat at the computer God begin to minister to me through scripture. God whipped me up and the gave me this one message that soothed my bruised spirit from attacks of satan this week. He gave me

Joshua 1:3-10 (NIV) and it reads:
3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. 4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Great Sea [a] on the west. 5 No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Sharing your testimony!

Greetings Everyone,

I have to say thank you to those who attended the call last night. Once again the lines were packed and I give a special thanks to those who was brave enough to speak out on what God has done in their lives. Just from listening to everyone's testimony, it gave me more hope and determination to move on in God's work. Even thinking back on what he has done for me made me fall on my knees and bless his name. If you missed the call last night and wish to listen I will provide the link and password for you.

I just wanted to take the moment and say don't be afraid or ashame to give your testimony or share what you have been through. We as people are quick to brag about what we have bought, how much money we have made, talk about something new that you bought and how well it work, however, we are too scared to tell others what God has done in our lives! Your testimony can't help anybody if you are not willing to share it. The purpose of Testimony Tuesday last night was to help our sisters understand that we are not perfect, we were a mess before God stepped in, and to give someone hope for tomorrow. It was not about telling your business to everyone, it was simply to bless someone else Spirit. We as people need to step outside of ourselves and stop worrying about what people are going to think. Somebody deliverance could have been depending on your testimony! God Bless and have a Great day!

Luke 3:2-16

"Jesus gives the Great Commission!"

Greetings Divas & Gents,

This morning I was lead to Mark 16:15-18 and Matthew 28:16-20 and it speaks upon "Jesus gives the Great Commission!"

The Great Commission - A Personal Instruction

The Great Commission is one of the most significant passages in the Holy Bible. First, it's the last recorded personal instruction given by Jesus to His disciples. Second, it's a special calling from Jesus Christ to all His followers to take specific action while on this earth. The Great Commission is found in the Gospel of Matthew:

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

The Great Commission - A Personal Calling

In the Great Commission, Jesus calls every Christian to step out in faith and spread the Good News. This is faith in action! People who obey this command change their spiritual lives forever! It could be spreading the Good News to a neighbor or moving to another country to reach the people there. It could be sharing with less fortunate kids down the street or spreading the Word in a town two hours away. Wherever we go, every faithful Christian is compelled through obedience to share the Gospel. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ, where has He called you to go? Who has God put on your heart to share the gift of salvation? What small or large steps can you take, with the knowledge that Christ will be by your side, "to make disciples of all the nations"? Think about it!

In the words of Nike, "Just Do It"

Greeting Divas,

Monday we Spoke on "What are you waiting for?" Tuesday we discussed, "The Time is Now." Today we are going to use the slogan of Nike, "Just Do It!"

That's right Just do it! Get up, Get out, and Get Moving! Just as we spoke of on the call last night, Its time to pull those hopes and dreams out of the notebooks, its time to wake up, and its time to stop making excuses. The time is now to just do it! Remember when you first got yourself a pair of Nikes and all of a sudden you thought you could play basketball or run a little faster all because of the shoes on your feet? See when we were younger, we put our Faith in those shoes and little did we know those shoes boosted our confidence and we begin to play sports a little better. However, reality is, it was all inside of our mind. We can do anything that we put our mind to if we step out and just do it! So I encourage you to Get up and Lace up your mental Nikes and lets play ball. Do whatever it is that God has placed inside of you! Don't worry about failing, because guess what???? You have to fail before you succeed! I never met a successful person who succeeded on the first try! Failure starts in the mind by doubting the gift or vision that God has given us! So I say don't accept defeat or Failure before you even tryout your gifts or ideal. Lets wake up Divas and pull those dreams out of those notebooks and out of our minds! Stop being afraid to succeed or being successful! Stop worrying about what others are going to think of you! Stop making your decisions off of other people opinions! Stop making excuses, and "Just Do It!"

This morning I woke up with a humble and peaceful spirit. As God ministered to my spirit and He said, "The time is now!"

Everyday people offer us countless opportunities, however, God give each of us special gifts. Ask yourself are you working are you working using the gift that God gave you? "A Thought for today"

Today is the day that you could possibly save or change someone's life. The question is, Will you step up to the plate and take the challenge.? We all have a job to do and a mission to complete, but many of us are too afraid to get started. Its time for us to be like Nike and "Just Do It!" Its time out for excuses and fear. Tell someone about Christ today! Stop gossiping about others and start spreading the word about what he has done for you. Ask yourself... How many people can I save today just by telling them how Christ has moved in your life? Then, ask yourself... How many people could died today and go to hell because I failed to share with them the word of God?

We are quick to tell people about the latest sale at Macy's. We are quick to tell someone about our business. We are quick to talk about how the economy is doing. When are you going to talk about your experience with God? Tell someone how he brought you through your darkest moments. Share the Good News of how He saves, heal, protect, and provide! May your day be filled with blessings and encouragement. Step up and step out on Faith, however, remember that Faith without work is dead! I love you all. God Bless.

"Doing What is Good"

This morning I was flipping through my Bible and I came upon Titus 3: 1-9 and it spoke upon "Doing What is Good". We as Christians always thing of doing whats pleasing to God but what about our earthly authorities? We are Try our best to please God but many can't follow the rules of government and its leaders. We as Christians are not above the law. Obeying the Civil Law is only the beginning of our Christian responsibilities! I pray that this Word Bless Your Spirit. God Bless.

1Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.

Don't Bring a Butter Knife to a Sword Fight

Good Morning Divas & Gents,

My spirit has been on the verge on explosion since yesterday! God has been dropping little spiritual time bombs in my spirit and it is just a matter of seconds that my spirit is going to explode! Yesterday message was the saying of the wise and that's what I was going to speak on on the True Divas Conference Call tonight,however the Lord just dropped a message in my spirit and Tonight's Conference call is going to be ON FIRE!!!! So invite your friends, sisters, cousins, and whoever else you can think of, because we are going to burn the lines up tonight!

Greetings Divas & Gents,
As promised I am going to break down yesterday's message. It was from Ephesians 5:8-20.

We as people who have light from the Lord, our actions must reflect our faith. We should live above reproach morally so that we will reflect God's greatness to others.
It is important that we must avoid the "fruitless deeds of darkness" meaning any pleasures or activities that result in sin, but we must even take it a step further. See in the Bible Paul instructed people to expose these deeds, because our SILENCE my be interpreted as approval! God needs people who are going to take stand for what is right, not back down or keep silence because what others might think! Christians must lovingly speak out for what is true and right.
As many of us transform from our old habits and behaviors they still intend to try to sneak back into our lives at times. We must continue to set our standards high, act wisely, and do good whenever we can.

Today is the day the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it! This morning I came across an interesting message and it made me think of when I first gave my Life to Christ. I just wanted to share this message with you all today but I'm going to take my time and explain it in detail tomorrow. I hope that you all enjoy!

How Lonely are you?

Greetings Divas & Gents,

This morning I ask the Lord to give me something that will speak to each of you in some way this morning. As I flipped through my Bible I came upon my husband picture in the middle of Proverbs. I begin to flip through Proverbs and Immediately I was given Proverbs 19:24 and it reads:
Proverbs 19:24(NIV)
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

As I read this message, the light bulb went off and the questions began to flow! Why do people have to be with a crowd of friends? Why do some women and men change lovers like changing clothes? Why do some people have about feel the need to hang in clicks, gangs, clubs,and etc. Why isn't One lover or one True Friend is good enough? Then on the other hand this scripture can go another way... why do people isolate themselves from others? Why people don't have friends, or a companion?
The word came to mind was Loneliness!
Loneliness is everywhere, Many people feel cut off and alienated from others this will cause them to stay isolated or go out and crave to be accepted. Being in a crowd makes people be more aware of their isolation so we do one or two things, we either go back into our hole and think that we will never fit in or we continue to seek attention to be accepted. Both of these reactions can be very dangerous. Tonight on the True Divas Conference Call I will speak more about this in detail. I cut them off...

Greetings Divas & Gents,

I just have to share a small testimony with you this morning! All weekend long, I have been bullied by the devil. He has frustrated me, irritated me, tempted me, and even tried to cripple my thoughts. I tell you here today, all I could say in God I Trust you. When things got really hard I just called his name... Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Guess what... he showed up and he took control! He showed me how powerful he is and will always be.
This morning I was lead to the book of Psalm 118: 10-17(NIV) and it Read:
10 All the nations surrounded me,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

11 They surrounded me on every side,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

12 They swarmed around me like bees,
but they died out as quickly as burning thorns;
in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

13 I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the LORD helped me.

14 The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.

15 Shouts of joy and victory
resound in the tents of the righteous:
"The LORD's right hand has done mighty things!

16 The LORD's right hand is lifted high;
the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"

Forgiveness (Sunday, May 17,2009)

Greetings Everyone,

I pray that all is well on this wonderful day that the Lord has made! If you are reading this message you have been given another chance to make things right in your life. So lets start today by 1st asking someone that you have offended in anyway or have fallen out with over something stupid and ask them to forgive you. Life is too short to stay made at someone or have bad feelings about someone because of the things that have happened years and moths ago. Let it go and let God handle it. Just do your part by sincerely asking for their forgiveness, even if it wasn't completely your fault! Just as Jesus gave you a second chance today and forgave you,(even if you didn't ask) you should at least reach out and forgive yourself and someone else! I love you all and have a Super Sunday!

Trust Him

Greetings Divas & Gents,

I pray that all is well with each of you and your families. This week has been a challenging but wonderful week for me. All I could do was stay in the Word of God and Trust him. So many of us complain when we get called out on the test of faith (that's what I call my life challenges) that we don't realize that we are being tested. Look back over your week and see how many times your Faith was tested and ask yourself did I pass or fail?

I advise each of you to keep the Faith and Trust God! Realize that you have Jesus in the boat with you, even when you think your boat is sinking and the storm has gotten unbearable. No storm is too big for our God! A sinking boat is nothing when you can Trust him and he allows you to walk on water with him! Faith is the key to success and to life. If you trust God and have Faith, everything is possible. I love you all and God Bless.

Let your Light Shine

Greetings Divas & Gents,

I pray that each of you have had a wonderful week. Yesterday morning I spoke on Salt and asked how seasoned are you. This morning this old church song can into my head called "This Little Light of Mine" so this morning topic is Light!


Matthew 5:14-16 (New International Version)
Light
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Just to break these verses down a little.

Have you ever traveled across a long bridge at night and look across the water and hundreds of miles away you can see a city lit up with lights, and its looks absolutely amazing! If you are like me I begin to wonder whats over there or I want to see what it looks like inside the city! No matter how far away its light can be seen for miles. Now think of this if that city lights were never own when you passed through at night would you even know it was there?

If we live for Christ, we automatically show others what Christ is like. We don't have to announce that we are Christians or brag about it, it will show in our presence, our speech, & our body language. Some of us hide our light by, being quite when we should speak, going along with the crowd, denying the light to be accepted by others, letting sin dim our light, not explaining our light to others, or ignoring the needs of others. Be a Beacon of the Truth! Don't shut your light off to the rest of the world! Let your light Shine!!! I love you all, God Bless!

How seasoned are you?

This message caught my eye as I flipped through the bible and it gave me the topic of How Seasoned are you. As usual I will break this message down the best way that I can from my point of view. Enjoy!

Matthew 5:13 (NIV)
Salt
13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

Verse 13 says that we are the salt of the earth and that if we loose our saltiness we are no longer good for anything. Think of it like this, We have several cooks on this site, if you had a seasoning on our shelf that has lost it flavor, what will you do with it? It's useless it does nothing for your food so we throw it out!
If we as Christians make no effort to affect the world around us, then we are of little value to God. If we are too much like the world, we are worthless. We as Christians should not be camouflaged in with everyone else. Instead, We should affect others positively, just as seasoning brings out the best flavor in food. Think about it and ask yourself, How seasoned are you? I love you all, God Bless!

Are you being seduced?

Are you being seduced?

The spirit of seduction is going about throughout the world. We are seeing people being seduced by the enemy in so many different areas of their lives. We are being seduced in our flesh, our relationships, with our money, and even in many of our churches. The spirit of seduction is all around us. I encourage each of you to beware of seducing spirits.

We are all human and capable of getting into our flesh. It’s easy to get sidetracked. And we have to understand that people will get upset, frustrated, discouraged, have times they don’t feel good and we have to ‘make room for their humanity’ . In a relationship built out of love and truth there will be long-suffering and patience. The Lord knows our weaknesses, our strengths and our failures and He knows that sometimes we may do something stupid, but it isn’t because we don’t love him or love our brethren. We have to remember that we are all humans and no human is perfect.
The real battle is against truth. Whenever the enemy is coming against you with a temptation or testing, what he is trying to do is seduce you away from the truth. The Bible speaks of seducing spirits in the last days (1 Timothy 4:1). A seducing spirit is literally a spirit of deception. The Greek word for seduce means to cause to wonder or to lead astray or to seduce. It is close to the Greek word for wondering, as wondering in the wilderness without knowing your direction. The seducing spirit makes the mind to wander. As your mind begins to wander you become confused with a spirit of confusion. How does a seducing spirit seduce. It seduces by causing the mind to wander. So be careful what you allow people persuade you into doing.

Today Seduction is called hustling, smooth talking, the negotiator, wife, husband, children, Mother, & Fathers. Just as Delilah told Samson, "If you loved me..." how many times have you heard this statement, or how many times have you used this on someone? We allow people to persuade us into doing things that we really don't want to do or just to plainly shut them up. In the long run we end up paying for it dearly. So take a moment and think we are seduced in so many ways its crazy. Any form of temptation is a form of seduction, even fast food ads lol! Just be careful how you allow seduction to take a part in your life. Many people look at seduction in just sexual ways but now you see every word have several meanings! I love you all Take care.

Jesus Heals the Blind and Mute

Greetings Divas & Gents,

Someone here on this site is praying for God to reveal some things to them. You have all been blind, def, & mute to certain situations for whatever reason, but now is the time that everything will be revealed. I don't know who this is for but, once it is revealed its not for you to start conflict or throw things in anyone face. Its just give you time to make a smart decision and a clear way to handle the issue without drama. Just Trust God in this situation and allow him to order your steps. Have the Faith that when he reveal things to you that he will carry you through it. Stay in pray and stay connected to God's people.

Whats done in the dark will come to the light!

Greetings Everyone on this beautiful day!!! This morning the Lord gave me a message that was dear to my heart. I have come across a few people that say they are Saved, Sanctified, & Dipped in the Glory and they have so many secrets or living this undercover lifestyle that they think they can hide from their family, friends, spouse, or kids! Don't you know that just like God gave David the gift of Dreams he will reveal you in some for or fashion!
Some of you here are looking for that answer, you can fill the mystery in your relationship, your marriage, or even with your kids. Just trust God to reveal things at the right and perfect time for you and pray that you will be able to handle things the right way. I give you this passage: Whats done in the dark will come to the light!

Facing Temptation

Greeting Divas & Gents,

I share this pray with you all this morning because this is a prayer is overlooked by many.
This is a prayer for help when facing temptation. David prayed this pray to ask God to protect him and to give him wisdom in accepting criticism. Be open to honest criticism. You never know God may be speaking to you through others. So I hope that you all Enjoy.;

The reason why I do what I do.

Good Morning Divas & Gents,

Quite often someone ask me why do I get up every morning to write these messages so faithfully. I always say because my Father in Heaven inspires me to. When I came across this message this morning he explained to me what my purpose was for doing this every morning, so I hope you enjoy.

1 John 5
13I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

16If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that. 17All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.

18We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. 19We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. Refuel Yourself!

I pray that each of you have a day filled with blessings and excitement today. Joy and blessings have poured down upon me all weekend. I decided to take myself out of the equation and look at how I could help someone else. I'm always busy doing God's work and I truly love every minute of it, however, I do get discouraged just as everyone else do and that's when I sit down and focus on God. We as people of God have to keep ourselves refueled with God's word before we can continue to go out and attempt to refuel someone else low tank. We can NOT pour the Word of God into someone else when we have not refueled ourselves with the word of God! Imagine you running out of gas on the interstate and you call AAA, when they get there they don't have any gas to give you themselves. Now wouldn't that be messed up. So think about it, God loves a cheerful giver, however, ask yourself...Do I have anything left to give? Am I running low on Fuel? Lets get back to the basics and spend some quality time with our father in heaven! I love you all and God Bless!

Enjoy your Now!

Today is a new day, with new beginnings, new opportunities, new people, and a chance to be a better you. Time is precious and should never be taken for granted. Take the time to set work aside and tell your love ones that you love them. Spend some time with your kids by having a family game night or family movie night at home! I guarantee you that your family will love you for this. Whats here today is not promised tomorrow. Just as a strong wind comes through and blows the leaves off a tree you life can be taken away as quickly. Enjoy your now and stop worrying about your past and your future. This morning message is just something that was dear to my heart this morning. I hear many complain about their needs but it seems like its more of what they want. I encourage you to look back when you were growing up and see how much of these worldly things you needed then to survive. I ask of you to be content and stop complaining about your situations and allow God to reveal to you what it is he wants you to see. Stop worrying about how to get out the storm and start asking God what is it you want me to learn from this storm.

The Little Children and Jesus

Greetings Divas and Gents,

This passage that was placed on my heart today is very dear to me. This message will be discussed tonight on our conference call. If you are a Parent, Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle, God Parent, a Step Parent, or a playing a role in a child's life you need to be on this call tonight. The Cost of Following Jesus

Greetings Divas & Gents,

This morning I ask the Lord to give me something that would make you think. He gave me these scriptures and it just blew my mind.

Matthew 8:18-22 (New International Version)

The Cost of Following Jesus
18When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. 19Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."

20Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."

21Another disciple said to him, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father."

22But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead."

To break this down a little bit in these scriptures Jesus is being direct with his people. He was just letting them know that hey this is not going to be easy or comfortable. Following Jesus means great cost and sacrifice and no brownie points from anyone. You will find that following Christ will cost you popularity,friendships,leisure time, treasured habits, relationships, and sometimes even family! But remember that even though the cost of following Jesus is high and may be lonely at times,the VALUE of being Christ disciple is even higher. Following Christ is an investment that last for eternity and yield incredible rewards! So stay focused and stay on the path! I love you all. God Bless!

Final Instructions

Greetings Divas & Gents on this beautiful morning. This morning I was lead to give you all some Final Instructions from 1 Thessalonians 5: 12-28. I pray that this message touches your life.

12Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

16Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

19Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 20do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21Test everything. Hold on to the good. 22Avoid every kind of evil.

Being an Active Christian!

Greetings Divas & Gents,

I pray that each of your day starts off to a great start today. I just wanted to first and foremost thank everyone who attended the call last night. Last night call followed up on the scripture we had yesterday morning which was Matthew 3:10. The topic was called "Will you make the Cut?" I will be updating yesterday's blog to fill everyone in who missed it.

Last night call inspired me for this message this morning! We spoke about be Active Christians! So this morning I was flipping through the Bible and I asked the Lord to show me something to encourage my sisters and brothers to active Christians today and he led me to Acts 18: 9-10 and it reads:

9)One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10)For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city."

So my words to you is to be a tree of life today! Plant seed of inspiration, encouragement, understanding, and love into someones life today. That might be all someone needs to gain back their momentum to make it through this week! Be an Active Christian! Don't be the fig tree that didn't bare any fruit, we all know what Jesus did to it! The Resurrection
1On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6He is not here; he has risen! The Crucifixion
21A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross.
22They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull). 23Then they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it.
24And they crucified him. Dividing up his clothes, they cast lots to see what each would get.
25It was the third hour when they crucified him.
26The written notice of the charge against him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27They crucified two robbers with him, one on his right and one on his left.

Love Struck

Greetings Divas & Gents,

This very morning I got up so Love Struck! I was just thinking how much I adore and love this man. I was taking a walk down memory lane and remembered how he held my hand and told me things will be ok, how he loved me for no reason, and how he stayed by my side when I needed him the most. Even when I lashed out on him for no reason...he stayed right there and didn't say one word, he just held me and repeated I love you. I would run off for days, even months without speaking to him; but he never stopped loving me and he always took me back in. When I did everything wrong in our relationship, he continued to do Everything right! Many have looked me in my face and said if I was him I would have left you a long time ago. That's when I said ok enough is enough. I can't keep treating this man like this. I can't continue to live this way. That when I became woman enough to go tho this man and say hey I know I have not been the best person, I know I have done so much wrong,however, I never once forgotten about you and I never stopped loving you. I cried and cried and I begged for his forgiveness and that's when I heard him say, " My Child, I've been waiting for you, I never once gave up on you. I have so many plans for you but just know that this road is not easy, nor is it popular. Just follow my lead and you will be truly blessed."
I have to say on 04/02/06 he gave me a new life and I honored that. No matter how tough things get I never look back nor on the sidelines. I just keep my eyes on Christ for I know he has brought me too far to leave me alone. I wrote all this to say two words... TRUST HIM! I love you all, God Bless!

"Getting Offened by the Word"

Greetings Divas & Gents,
As I sat here thinking about how many people get offended by the Word of God at times. As for the Lord told me, from day one not to sugar coat any messages he tells me to deliver...so when I host our True Divas conference calls or send out a morning message it intends to offend some more than others. However, I have a job to do, may Father said to keep it 100 not 78% raw & 12% Sugar Coated, so that's what I do. For a while I was worried about people not liking me or mistaking me to be this mean person but God said to me, "they didn't like me either." I have lost so called friends, some people have removed themselves from this site, some don't attend the conference calls anymore, even some members have stop speaking with me all of because they got offended with the Word of God. So this morning I was browsing through my Bible and came across the story were many disciples deserted Jesus (John 6:60-71) The story started off by people not believing that Jesus was from heaven, they were doubting him because he would not give in to their self centered request or put on public acts for them. As they begin to talk about Jesus so did the disciples and was starting to think and grumble that Jesus Teaching was too hard and people may not accept it. People fail to understand that Jesus emphasize Faith not deeds! God's teachings may be hard, difficult to understand, and offensive at times but we have to ask our selves will I give up,will I ignore certain teachings, or will I reject Christ? Instead of all of that we should ask God to show us what the teachings mean and how do they apply to our life. Then have the courage to act on God's truth! I love you all and my God continue to bless each of you.

2 Your throne was established long ago;
you are from all eternity.

3 The seas have lifted up, O LORD,

the LORD on high is mighty.

5 Your statutes stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
